Hike for Health with Royalty Tours

Join naturalist Jon Menard to explore and learn about the Bay Area’s beautiful coastline while you build stamina and improve your physical fitness with fun and like-minded folks. Benefit from the aerobic exercise of walking and hiking various locations of the California Coastal Trails (north to south). Meet new friends, while learning about the local flora, fauna, and geology. Choose your level of hiking adventure between 5 and 8 miles. Because there are several different levels of hiking groups the instructor will NOT be with your group at all times. If you have any special health or medical conditions, please discuss with the instructor before registering for the class.

Hike cost - per person: $35

Required equipment: Sturdy supportive boots/shoes with traction type soles (smooth soles are not allowed); personal first aid kit, 2-16oz water bottles, snacks, lunch and layered clothing.

• Meet at the Moonlite Shopping Center near the Java Coffee Shop at the SE corner of Kiely and El Camino Real in Santa Clara. Please be on time!
• Hikes are not cancelled due to inclement weather.
• To avoid class cancellations please register by Tuesday for the following Monday hike.
• Drop-in price is $40 per hike.
• Any registration after Thursday at 4PM is a Drop-in and must pay the Drop-in price of $40.

All tours are on Monday from 8 AM to 4 PM

Cancellation Policy:

For any hiking tour, cancellations must be made 2 weeks prior to the date of the hiking tour unless otherwise noted in the trip summary. No refunds will be issued after that date unless you are replaced. There is a $5.00 per person cancellation fee on all hike tours for any refunds. Please allow 3 weeks for us to process the refund check or credit. Credits can be put on file in our office at no additional fee.
